We are a family-owned and operated remodeling business, proudly women-owned and LGBT-friendly, and established in 2020. At CMP Remodeling, LLC, we believe in building a strong relationship with our clients through open communication and transparency. Chao (co-owner), the contractor is the oldest of 7. He is a father of 8 kids. In 2010, instead of calling someone else to fix up his house, he wanted to do it himself. He did not know how so he decided to go to school for carpentry and construction. Once he learned, he fell in love with trade and the complexity of construction. Chao loves golfing and bowling on his off time.
Mao (co-owner), the customer representative, is the only girl with 6 brothers. She worked her way up the ladder to being a lead and manager at her job before starting CMP Remodeling. She loves getting dirty and loves working with her hands. She is driven to learn new things and challenges herself to being the best at everything she does. Mao loves the outdoors. She loves to fish and hunt.
Pa Zaub (co-owner), the manager, is the oldest of 7 siblings. Born and raised in La Crosse WI, she went to college for welding. She loves learning new things and loves growing as an individual. She dreams to travel and taste what the world offers. Her hobbies on her down time are hunting, fishing, and cooking.
We all worked our 9-5 jobs and we were helping our families, friends and neighbors with their home repairs and remodels during the weekends. 2020 was the year that affected all of us world wide. It left us laid off from our jobs and we decided to start this remodeling journey. We are finally doing something we love and passionate about. Being the first generation in the United States and owner and operator of a business in our family, we want to set an example that with patience, integrity, and passion, you can be and do whatever you dream of.
